The Badrinath Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage to the Badrinath Temple in Uttarakhand, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Located in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,133 meters, the temple opens for about six months annually, from May to October, as it becomes inaccessible during winter due to heavy snow.
