The standard Kailash Mansarovar Yatra (via Kathmandu and Tibet) spans 13 to 14 days. The journey involves a drive into Tibet, reaching Lake Mansarovar for a holy dip, and completing the 3-day sacred Kora (circumambulation) around Mount Kailash.

Tour Plan
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. You will be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax or explore the local surroundings.
Visit sacred sites like the Pashupatinath Temple and the Boudhanath Stupa. Attend a mandatory detailed briefing about the Yatra and complete final preparations.
Enjoy a scenic 6 to 7-hour drive from Kathmandu passing through traditional Nepalese towns to Syabrubesi.
Drive to the Rasuwagadhi border and complete customs/immigration to enter China. Drive further to Kyirong County (approx. 13,500 ft) and settle in for proper acclimatization.
Stay an extra day in Kyirong to allow your body to adjust to the high altitude. Light walks and exploring the area are recommended.
Travel across the Tibetan plateau with breathtaking views of the Himalayas towards Saga.
Drive from Saga to the pristine shores of Lake Mansarovar (approx. 4,590 m). Devotees perform their holy baths, pujas, and circumambulation here.
After completing morning rituals at the lake, drive to Darchen, the base camp for the Mount Kailash Kora (circumambulation).
Begin the challenging 12 km trek from Darchen to the Dirapuk monastery. The trail offers spectacular northern face views of Mount Kailash.
A challenging 22 km trek passing through the highest point of the Yatra, the Dolma La Pass (5,630 m), and the sacred Gauri Kund before descending to Zuthulpuk.
Complete the final 12 km trek to Darchen, then board transport for the return drive to Saga.
Retrace your journey through the Tibetan landscape, heading back down towards Kyirong.
Cross the border at Rasuwagadhi and take the overland route back to Kathmandu.
Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

Process, Term& condition
- Necessary to send color Scan copy of Passport for permit processing.
- We need 6 Month valid ordinary Passport but Diplomat passport is not acceptable.
- Should deposit INR Rs. 25,000 or USD $ 300 per person as advance before processing.($200 non-refundable)
- Should send Indian pilgrimage’s original Passport with 4 passport size photographs to our Mumbai office before 5 days from the departure date for China visa stamping.
- NRI/Other Citizen’s Passport will collected after arrival in Kathmandu.
- If suddenly program has changed Due to weather problem, natural disaster, landslide, technical problem and political movement, all additional expenses should be paid by Client themselves
General Information regarding Kailash Mansarovar Tour.
- nsurance: Medical Insurance not compulsory for visa processing but will use full if you do insurance in case any health problem arises during travel.
- Oxygen Cylinder: Our Company will provide oxygen cylinder in emergency. Usually, oxygen cylinder is not required. However, some pilgrimage we prefer to carry their own handy oxygen cylinders. You may buy small portable cylinder in Tibet. It may cost approx. Yuan 20-30 per cylinder.
- Food During Tour: Our cooks will be traveling with you during the entire trip. Our Staff will carry all necessary cooking items and will provide Indian vegetarian food during Yatra.
- Age Restriction-Chinese Authority do not permit for Kailash Parikrama people aged 65 or above.

China Government Notice!!!- Don’t take any picture, tape record, newspapers, political things or anything related to Dalai Lama , If found in Tibet, on the spot China Army will control and take legal action.
- All pilgrimage can carry dry foods in the journey.
- All pilgrimage can buy Chinese SIM card at Kyirong /Taklakot which provides incoming service only (not out going Call service) but internet is available.
- Carry regular medicine –Diamox 250 mg. 20 tablets and Personal First Aid Kit.
- Money exchange: Indian Rupees are not accepted in Tibet but is acceptable in Nepal. We will exchange the amount to Yuan for you upon your arrival.
