Tehri Lake – Surkanda Devi Temple – Dhanaulti Tour Package

A one-day tour covering Tehri Lake, Surkanda Devi Temple, and Dhanaulti is an action-packed, scenic itinerary. Starting from Rishikesh or Mussoorie, this route treats you to tranquil hill stations, a high-altitude temple hike, and thrilling water sports—all spanning roughly 12 hours of travel and sightseeing.

• Departure from Rishikesh/Mussoorie: Start your day early to make the most of the daylight. The drive from Rishikesh to Kaddukhal (the base of the Surkanda Devi trek) is about 75 km (~2.5 hours). 
• Surkanda Devi Temple: Arrive at Kaddukhal. From here, it’s a scenic but moderate 2 km uphill trek (approx. 45–60 minutes) to reach the temple, or you can opt for the newly installed ropeway to save time. 
• Descent & Drive to Dhanaulti: Head back down to Kaddukhal and drive about 8 km to Dhanaulti.
• Lunch & Sightseeing in Dhanaulti: Enjoy a peaceful lunch surrounded by alpine forests. Spend time exploring the serene Dhanaulti Eco Park or walking through the Potato Farm and Kaudia Forest. 
• Drive to Tehri Lake: Leave Dhanaulti and head toward New Tehri / Tehri Dam. The drive is roughly 35-40 km and takes about 1.5 hours.
• Tehri Lake Adventure: Arrive at Asia’s largest man-made lake. Spend the afternoon enjoying water sports like jet-skiing, banana boat rides, and speed boating. 
• Departure: Begin your return journey to your base (Rishikesh or Mussoorie), taking in the sunset views along the winding mountain roads.
